Why did you have to do this?
You leave me hanging in the rain,
You make these promises and say you love me,
then you don't keep them and cause me pain.
There are times when I just hate you and I want to let you go,
There are things I want to tell you, but the words, they just don't flow.
Why do I put up with this? You're not the only one for me,
You take my love for granted,
then I get mad, you beg and plea.
The things we've been through, all the highs and the lows,
We seem to be parting, what will happen?..Who knows.
We can't keep this up, the charades and the games,
Everything's different now, there's just no more flames.
Those shivers and chills that I felt from your touch,
I long for that feeling, am I asking too much?
We've come to the end of this cliff we have climbed,
Now we have to decide...do we jump or stay behind?
